New Mom’s Group

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This group explores the unique realities of becoming a new mom in a world dominated by insta-perfect standards. Members can expect to gain access to a safe space within a peer group of new moms where authentic processing occurs, growth is encouraged, and connections are fostered.

WHO IS IT FOR?

  • Individuals who have given birth up to 18 months postpartum.

GROUP FOCUS:

  • Unique experiences of navigating postpartum stress and depression

  • Ambivalence

  • Nuances of physical recovery

  • Challenges associated with adjusting to the pressures of societal expectations

WHEN DOES IT MEET:
Wednesdays: 5:00-6:30pm (via Zoom)

COST:
$40 per session; or bill through insurance

Unconventional 30-Somethings

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This group explores and processes topics unique to the unexpected experience of being a 30-something-year-old existing outside of the normative expectations of adulting.

GROUP FOCUS:

  • Disorientation of not knowing how to adult

  • Experience being single/divorced

  • Ambivalence about having children

  • Landing in unconventional romantic relationships

  • Career uncertainty

  • Abandonment of a traditional timeline

WHEN DOES IT MEET:
Mondays: 6:00-7:30pm (via Zoom)

Healing Trauma Processing Group

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This group helps participants lean about the anatomy of trauma, process their individual trauma responses, and learn to pursue healing through unique, creative, and artistic expression activities that foster resiliency.

  • Grief & Loss

  • Social relationships

  • Community crime

  • Pandemic

Talk Nice To Me: A Support Group for Couples Feeling Unheard

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This group helps couples improve dysfunctional communication in their relationship.

GROUP FOCUS:

  • Understanding how stress impacts communication tendencies

  • Learning how to recognize the signs of communication imbalances

  • Learning skills for course correcting communication pitfalls and effectively resolving conflict

  • Learning how to effectively convey mutual respect and empathy
